Shifter Shimano Acera SL-M315-L left, 3-speed (4703)

Shimano Acera SL-M315-L is the left-hand shifter for the front derailleur, made for triple chainring setups. A straightforward replacement for a worn shifter on city, trekking, hybrid and mountain bikes running Shimano drivetrains.

Why it works well

RAPIDFIRE Plus lets you shift with thumb or index finger without taking your hand off the bar. One lever shifts up, the other down, so you can change gear even under load.

Optical gear display shows which of the three chainrings is engaged. It sits below the bar so it never blocks your view of the road.

Band clamp mounting means the shifter position can be adjusted to your hand size, and it can be replaced without removing the brake lever.
