LOOK X-Venture+ – hybrid pedals for gravel, touring and urban bikes, allowing the rider to use clipless cycling shoes or ride on a flat platform with regular footwear.

Construction and design

The pedals feature an aluminium body and a chromoly steel spindle. Their compact 77 × 87 mm platform provides stable foot support, while each pedal weighs approximately 190 g.

Main functions

One side features an SPD-compatible clipless mechanism, while the other has a flat platform with aluminium grip pins. This combination supports efficient clipped-in pedalling and provides a practical flat side for technical terrain, short journeys or situations requiring frequent stops.

The retention tension can be adjusted from 5 to 10, allowing the engagement and release resistance to be adapted to the rider’s experience. The cleats provide 6° of angular float and a 13° release angle.

Use and compatibility

The pedals are suitable for gravel, touring, urban and all-purpose bicycles. The clipless side is compatible with SPD-standard cleats and suitable cycling shoes, while the flat side can be used with regular or sports footwear.

Additional features

The 77 mm-wide support surface and metal pins help keep the foot securely positioned on loose or uneven terrain. The pedals have a 53 mm Q-factor and a platform height of 10.7 mm.
