TREK Checkpoint ALR 4 is a gravel bike with an aluminium frame and hydraulic disc brakes. The mid model of the ALR family: a wider gear range and stronger braking than the ALR 3.

300 Series Alpha Aluminum frame with internal cable routing, 3S chain keeper, T47 and UDH standards, rack and fender mounts.
Drivetrain:
Shimano CUES U6030 11-speed: CUES U8000 GS rear derailleur, CUES LG700 LINKGLIDE 11–50 cassette, CUES FCU60301 crankset with 40T ring, Shimano LG500 chain. The wide range makes loaded climbs easier.
Brakes:
Shimano CUES hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano RT54 160 mm rotors.
Wheels and tyres:
Bontrager Paradigm 23 tubeless ready rims, Bontrager Girona Pro 700x42 mm tyres with puncture protection. Wheel size 28" (700c). The bike comes with Bontrager Paradigm 23 aluminium rims.
Components:
Bontrager Elite Gravel handlebar, Bontrager Elite stem 31.8 mm, Fresh Short Comp 145 mm saddle.
How does it differ from the ALR 3?
Hydraulic brakes instead of mechanical, and an 11-speed drivetrain with a wider 11–50 range.
